Placing & Editing Ads Why should I place my ad online? The internet is quickly becoming the place where property searches are beginning and ending. The demographics of people most likely to rent/buy are internet savvy and are more comfortable searching for properties online. Print ads have become too expensive and do not convey quality information to people searching for rental property. In addition, most out-of-town people who are likely to rent will not look in local papers, they will search on the internet. How do I get started? First thing you need to do is register an account. Click on Post a Free Ad and then register as a new member. You can post a free Ad, giving details about your property. You can even post an Ad about your requirements i.e. if your search does not come up with any listings that match what you are looking for. Owners of property will contact you. Will it cost me anything to Post an Ad? Posting an Ad on eproperty4u.com is completely FREE. After I place an ad, how long until people can find it on the internet? Instantly. As soon as you hit the submit button on your Ad posting. How long does my ad stay on the site? Your Free Ad listing will remain active on the site for a period of 1month from the date of posting. How do I add photos to my ad? You can add photos to your Ad at the time of posting your Ad. However, this does not mean that you can’t add a photo at a later date. Just login to your account – Go to ‘My Posted Ads’ – View/Edit Details – and choose the Upload/Edit Photos in your relevant Ad. I am searching for a property. Can I post my requirement? Yes. You can post an Ad about your requirements, especially if your search does not come up with any listings that match what you are looking for. Owners of property will contact you. To post a free ad, you need to be a registered member. How do I edit my ad? You can edit details about your Ad by logging into your account. Go to My Posted Ads – View/Edit Details. How do I remove my ad from the site? To remove your Ad from the search listings, you need to login to your account, Go to My Posted Ads – View/Edit Details - and select the Remove option. How do I renew my ad? To repost your Ad, just login to your account - go to My Posted Ads – View/Edit Details - and select the Refresh option next to the relevant ad. Your Ad will be reposted for one more month retaining the same Ad ID.
Search/Find Property What is Ad Id Search? Every property/requirement listed on eproperty4u.com will receive a unique Ad ID. You can search for a property by just entering the Ad ID. Click on ‘Search’ on the navigation bar and select ‘Search by Ad Id’. What if no properties are displayed in my search results? It is possible that you have refined your search criteria to a point where there are no exact matches. Reduce the limitations you have placed on your search (eg. widen the price range) in order to increase the chances of a match to your search. If there are no properties currently available that match your search criteria, try adding your property requirements by posting an Ad. Do I need to be a member to search your site? Search is FREE. Anyone can search for Ad listings on our site, but you have to register to post an ad regarding your property for everyone to see. What are the different ways to search for a Property? At present eproperty4u.com has 4 ways to search Basic Search – minimum requirements Advanced Search – You can choose any/all of multiple search criteria. Search By Locality – select your city and choose the localities you are interested in. Ad ID - You can search for a specific property by just entering its unique Ad ID. I would like to save the ad Information in my Search Result for later, how do I do it? When you view the property details listed in your search result, click on the ‘Save to My account’ link. The property will then be automatically saved and added to your list. You can login to your account to view the details any time! How do I contact someone who has posted an advert? At the bottom of the advert you will see the Contact Information. If the Advertiser has chosen to display their telephone number(s) it will be listed here. Alternatively, click on the ‘Send an Email’ link and you will be presented with an enquiry form. Fill this out and your message will be e-mailed to the Advertiser. Should you wish to be contacted by phone, please put your telephone number with your message. My friend might be interested in this property. How do I let him/her know about it? You can forward the details of the property to your friend, just click on the "Send to friend" link displayed below the property listing to send the property details to them.
Alerts How do I cancel my alerts? You can cancel these by going to Manage Alerts in your Account and set the frequency for emails to 'off'. To cancel SMS Alerts, just uncheck the Send Me SMS Alert checkbox.
Login / Registration How do I login if I forget my Password? If you ever forget your password, at the logon screen, you can click on the "Forgot Your Password?" button. When the next screen comes up, enter your user name on the form and click on the "Submit" button. The script will e-mail your password to the e-mail address that you used when registering your account. I am a member of eproperty4u.com Classifieds, can I access eproperty4u.com’s Member Services? Member services are combined across all eproperty4u.com Websites. What this means is that if you have already joined at, your email-id and password will work for eproperty4u.com member services. How do I modify my registration details? You can modify your Registration details or change your Password anytime by just logging into ‘My Account’.
Others How do I find an estate agent to sell or let my property? eproperty4u.com has an online Directory of Agents/Developers/ Builders. You can access it form the homepage I emailed an Advertiser from the site and they've not responded yet. We’re sorry to hear that the Advertiser has not responded to your enquiry. Once we’ve passed an enquiry on, how the Advertiser deals with it, is of course, up to them. How do I cancel my newsletter and/or communications from third parties? You can cancel these by selecting the ‘unsubscribe’ link available at the bottom of the newsletter or Email Communication. I have a question that is not covered here, how do I get an answer?
